has appointed Margaret Velasquez as business development officer in the San Antonio, Texas market. 

Velasquez will report directly to chief investment strategist Tom Stringfellow.

With 35 years in the financial services industry, Velasquez served in leadership positions at Frost Bank, most recently as key accounts, sales support marketing manager, and senior vice president of Frost Investment Advisors.

Velasquez holds the Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager designation. She is a member of the Association of Accredited Fiduciary Investment Managers offered by Cannon Financial Institute and the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She gained the Certified Financial Planner™ certificate from the University of Texas at Austin.
